Bea grew up in Graz/Austria, where she studied Information Design at FH Joanneum. After her country life as the queen of chickens, she decided to move to a bigger city, which ended up being Vienna, to work for several advertising companies. After her time in Vienna, she moved to Hamburg to attend Animation-School-Hamburg for one year and subsequently graduated from Filmakademie in Baden-Württemberg as an Animation Director.
Bea made it to her personal task to test out boundaries - personal as well as society-set frontiers. She loves to observe people when confronted with sexuality, being pushed beyond their comfort zone and seeing the particular behaviour that comes with it.
Bea loves to be a woman with all the aspects. She wants to offer new interpretations of media, far away from well-worn clichés or stereotypical representations. She likes to look for society's boundaries and breaks them if necessary. Especially women are pressed into the same roles over and over and it's right about time to change that in a creative way.
When it comes to the process of execution Bea focuses on teamwork, diversity and dialog to feature previously unseen points of view. Her latest short film "KLIMAX", for example, aims to show femininity from a different perspective and how beautiful every centimeter of the female body is in all its different facets.
