Menno Fokma is a film & motion director living in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. His portfolio spans commercials, music videos, fashion films and digital content. Menno’s creative output reflects his interest in the perception of reality, fashion, modern dance, imaginary places and the extraordinary.
His ambigue stories inviting subconscious emotions to rise to the surface. Fluent movement and rhythm are key to emphasise the dreamlike character of his work. Always aiming on the highest visual standard.
With years of experience as a 3D motion artist he has established a hands on approach to directing. He is able to accomplish technical and visual solutions for the execution of films and artwork by mixing film, photography and CGI.
He worked for clients like: Moncler, Skyteam, Chanel, Toyota, G-Star, River Island, MTV, Heineken, Stedelijk Museum and Universal Records.
