We are looking for a mid / senior Houdini FX TD (f/m/d) to expand our core team at Sehsucht (Hamburg / Munich / Berlin)

Your Tasks:
• Creating high-end FX with Houdini (pyro, fluids, particles, rbd etc. ) for our commercial and feature-film projects
• Working closely with our FX - team to solve simulation challenges as briefed by our supervisors
• Maintaining and developing internal tools, scripts and workflows together with the pipeline & FX department 
• Rendering and pre-compositing of selected shots and effects with Arnold / Mantra and Nuke
• Keeping the supervisors and the producers informed of your progress while meeting given deadlines

Beyond the ability to create high-end FX, you should have good communications skills, be proactive, motivated and able to work in a team.

Required Skills:
• A minimum of 4 years experience working as a professional FX artist in either the commercial, episodic or feature VFX industry
• Extensive generalist FX knowledge in Houdini is a must.
• Strong understanding of Python, VEX and HScript
• Ability to develop digital assets as well as other scripts and tools as our projects require 
• Knowledge of Arnold and Nuke is a big plus

This job can be either on-site, remote or a hybrid solution.
